DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER (w/o Smart Entry and Start System) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for RHD)

      Install a new battery (lithium battery) with the positive (+) side up, as shown in the illustration.

    2. A017BG7

      Press down gently on the battery to set it in place.

      Note


      • Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.

      • Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.

    3. A017FL2

      Install the case securely.

  2. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for LHD)

      Install a battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.

      • Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.

      Install the cover.

  3. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE (for LHD)


    1. A017EKG

      Install the door control transmitter module into the transmitter housing case, and install the transmitter housing cover securely onto the transmitter housing case.

  4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (for LHD)

      Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.

    2. Check that the transmitter's LED illuminates when the switch is pressed.
