WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Smart Entry and Start System) DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

  1. DATA LIST

    Tech Tips

Using the intelligent tester to read the Data List allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the Data List early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.

    Note

In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body / MAIN BODY or Entry&Start / Data List.

    4. Read the Data List according to the display on the tester.

  2. ACTIVE TEST

    Tech Tips

Using the intelligent tester to perform Active Test allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing the Active Test early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time. The Data List can be displayed during the Active Test.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body / MAIN BODY or Entry&Start / Active Test.
