  1. Click here

    INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A017F08E01

      Remove the rear door lock assembly RH (Click here).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Measurement Condition Door Lock Condition Specified Condition
      6 - 9

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      Locked 10 kΩ or higher
      6 - 9

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4

      Unlocked Below 1 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT)


    1. A017CKSE01

      Disconnect the instrument panel junction block connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J4-1 (UL) - 1F-18 Always Below 1 Ω
      J4-4 (L) - 1F-5 Always Below 1 Ω
      J4-1 (UL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J4-4 (L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Disconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J4-6 (LSSR) - D6-5 (LSWR) Always Below 1 Ω
      J4-6 (LSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J4-9 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
