WASHER LEVEL WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY


    1. A017FPR

      Remove the 2 bolts and engine under cover assembly RR.

    2. A017FXN

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 screws, 5 clips and engine under cover assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

      Remove the 6 bolts, 2 clips and No. 1 engine under cover.

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. A017EZQ

      Remove the 11 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A017GBWE01

      Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

    2. A017DWF

      Remove the 2 bolts and 4 clips.

    3. A017G18

      Disengage the 6 claws and 4 guides, and remove the radiator grille.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Fog Light)

      Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. A017B8ZE01

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the 7 screws and clip.

      Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Remove the front bumper assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Fog Light)

      Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the 7 screws and clip.

    5. A017B44

      Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Disconnect each fog light connector, and then remove the front bumper assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A017EVY

      Remove the clip.

    2. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the screw.

    3. A017BNI

      Peel off the front fender side protector and disengage the 3 clips, and then remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly RH.

    4. Remove the pad from the front fender moulding sub-assembly RH.

    5. Remove the 2 clips No. 4 from the front fender moulding sub-assembly RH.

      Remove the front fender side protector from the front fender moulding sub-assembly RH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH


    1. A017FSUE01

      Remove the screw.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    3. A017EB7

      Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 screws.

    4. Remove the 2 grommets.

      Tech Tips

      The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

      Remove the 5 clips, 7 screws and front fender liner RH.

  9. DRAIN WASHER FLUID


    1. A017FYY

      Disconnect the washer hose from the front washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.

  10. REMOVE LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the level warning switch assembly.
