HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Radio Receiver)


    1. A017DROE01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 - 5 ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    2. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the (-) lead to terminal 7.

    3. Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

      OK
      The illumination comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Radio Receiver)


    1. A017DROE01

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 - 5 ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

    2. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the (-) lead to terminal 7.

    3. Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

      OK
      The illumination comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

  3. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)


    1. A017DROE02

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 - 5 ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the navigation receiver assembly.

    2. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the (-) lead to terminal 7.

    3. Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

      OK
      The illumination comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the navigation receiver assembly.
