IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER (w/ Engine Immobiliser System)


    1. A017E8IE09

      Connect the (+) lead from battery to the terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 6.

    2. Check that the ignition key cylinder light comes on.

      OK
      The ignition key cylinder light comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transponder key amplifier.

  2. INSPECT KEY CYLINDER LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Immobiliser System)


    1. A017FIWE02

      Connect the (+) lead from battery to the terminal 1 and the (-) lead to terminal 2.

    2. Check that the ignition key cylinder light comes on.

      OK
      The ignition key cylinder light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace key cylinder light assembly.
