DESCRIPTION
The side airbag sensor (Passenger side) circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor (Passenger side) and rear airbag sensor (Passenger side).
The side airbag sensor (Passenger side) and rear airbag sensor (Passenger side) detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1625/22 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor (Passenger side) circuit.

PROCEDURE
CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR (PASSENGER SIDE)
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
Interchange the side airbag sensor (Passenger side) with the side airbag sensor (Driver side) and connect the connectors to them.
Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Clear the DTCs stored in the memory Click here.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
