LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • The installation should be performed in the order of LH to RH.

  • After installing the torsion bar, use your hand to open and close the luggage door. Make sure the luggage door can open and close smoothly.


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT

      Squeeze the two sides of the No. 2 luggage compartment door torsion bar support indicated by the arrows and install it as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH

    1. Set the tip of the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH in the installation hole in the center. The upper and lower holes are used for adjustment.

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the body RH side.

    3. A01GIBT

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

      Using SST, install the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the luggage door hinge and body LH side

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH

      Set the tip of the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH in the installation hole in the center. The upper and lower holes are used for adjustment.

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the body LH side.

    3. A01GJZF

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support.

    4. A01GKEME01

      Using SST, install the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the luggage door hinge and body RH side.

      Attach the 3 clips and install the luggage door wire.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH

      Install the luggage compartment trim cover assembly RH with the claw and 2 clips.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH

      Install the luggage compartment trim cover assembly LH with the claw and 2 clips.

  6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

      Attach the 4 clips to install the rear floor finish plate.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  7. INSTALL TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire)


    1. Install the tool box with the 2 clips.

  8. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  9. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER


    1. w/o Rear Cooler:

        Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 4 claws and 3 clips.

      2. Attach the 3 clips.

      3. Install the 2 rope hooks.

    2. w/ Rear Cooler:


      1. A01GI60

        Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 4 claws and 5 clips.

      2. Install the 2 rope hooks.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)

      Attach the 2 clips to install the No. 1 cooler cover.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler)


    1. Attach the No. 2 luggage compartment trim hook.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly.

  13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH

      1. Install the deck trim side board LH with the clip.

    2. w/o Spear Tire:


      1. Attach the clip to install the deck trim side board LH.

      Install the 4 rope hook assemblies with the 4 bolts.

  16. INSTALL ROPE HOOK

      Install the 2 rope hooks.
