DESCRIPTION

"PBD" refers to the power trunk lid.

DTC B2222 is output in the following situations: 1) When the pulse sensor of the luggage closer motor assembly has a malfunction and a normal waveform is not input into the pulse sensor during the power trunk lid operation, or 2) When there is a malfunction in the power trunk lid activation power supply.

"Back door" refers to the luggage compartment door.

DTC B2225 is output when there is malfunction in clutch of luggage closer motor assembly, or when there is a malfunction in the power trunk lid activation power supply.

INSPECT FUSE (PTL)

Remove the PTL fuse from the luggage room junction block.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance: Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition PTL fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG 
REPLACE FUSE
OK

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR - BATTERY)

Disconnect the S43 motor connector.
-
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage: Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition S43-12 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
