DESCRIPTION

When the position control ECU does not receive a sensor signal despite forward or backward movement of the seat by power seat motor operation, this DTC is output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER SEAT MOTOR FUNCTION)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the power seat motor function.

      Rear Right Seat (for LHD)

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU - OTTOMAN RECLINING MOTOR AND BODY GROUND)

    1. for LHD:


      1. Disconnect the f38 ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the R66 motor connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Disconnect the f41 ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the S80 motor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

      Standard resistance

    3. Measure the voltage according to the values in the table below.

      Reconnect the R66 motor connector.

    2. for RHD:

      Reconnect the S80 motor connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value in the table below.

  6. INSPECT REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (POWER SEAT MOTOR)

    1. Disconnect the motor connector.

    2. Check operation of the power seat motor (reclining motor).


      1. Check if the seat reclining adjuster moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

      1. Disconnect the f24 ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the S80 motor connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.
