DESCRIPTION

Outputs to the rear cushion cover's temperature sensor stop if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (SEAT HEATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR)


    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the temperature sensor.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH - REAR SEATBACK COVER LH AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the f46 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the f47 seatback cover connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      f46-6 (H5) - f47-2 (THL) Always Below 1 Ω
      f46-7 (HS) - f47-3 (PL) Always Below 1 Ω
      f46-6 (H5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      f46-7 (HS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the f44 seatback cover connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
