DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 night view ECU communicates with the object recognition ECU via CAN communication. This DTC is stored when a near infrared signal malfunction is detected in the object recognition ECU.

Tech Tips

While DTCs are stored, the night view system does not operate and a warning message is displayed on the accessory meter assembly.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  6. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Wait 6 seconds after turning the engine switch off, and then turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Check for DTCs Click here.
