REMOTE TOUCH REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

    A01GLHB

    1. Pull the front part of the instrument panel finish panel end LH to detach the 6 clips.

    2. Pull the instrument panel finish panel end LH to detach 3 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel end LH.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01GJB3

      Lower the shift lever boot and disconnect it from the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

    2. A01GKLB

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  4. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL

    A01GJKI

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 box panel.

  5. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Move the shift lever to N.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Detach the 6 clips and remove the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

    5. Disconnect each connector and each wire harness clamp.

  6. REMOVE REMOTE OPERATION BOARD

      Detach the 7 claws.

    2. A01GIWH

      Move the remote operation board in the direction of the arrow in the illustration to remove it from the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01GHLV

      Remove the switch knob upward.

  8. REMOVE COVER


    1. A01GHRK

      Detach the 2 clips and remove the cover.

  9. REMOVE INTEGRATION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01GLRV

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01GHLA

      Move the remote integration panel sub-assembly in the direction of the arrow in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE REMOTE OPERATION SWITCH


    1. A01GNVZ

      Remove the 4 screws and remote operation switch.
