DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

The certification ECU controls the entry and start system related items that are customizable via the accessory meter assembly screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.


      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

  2. CHECK ENTRY AND START SYSTEM


    1. Check if the entry and start system is malfunctioning.


      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the entry and start system.

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed manually. In a following step, a manual procedure will be used.


      1. Check the customize parameters list for the entry and start system related items that can be customized via the accessory meter assembly screen.


    3. Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the accessory meter assembly screen.
