POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM Only Rear Door RH LOCK / UNLOCK Functions do not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The rear door ECU RH receives lock/unlock switch signals and activates the door lock motor according to these signals.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (REAR DOOR LOCK RH)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check the door lock motor function.

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)


    1. Use the Data List to check if the door lock position switch is functioning properly.

  3. CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)


    1. Replace the rear door ECU RH with a normal one Click here.

    2. Check that all doors can be locked and unlocked by using the master switch.

  4. INSPECT FUSE (P RR DOOR)


    1. Remove the P RR DOOR fuse from the passenger side junction block.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH - BATTERY)

    1. Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
