HIGH BEAM MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover D, detach the 6 clips and remove the instrument side panel LH.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel ornament.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the switch base hole cover from the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01GNWZ

      Remove the bolt.

    3. Remove the screw <C>.

    4. Detach the 5 clips and claw and remove the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.

    5. Disconnect each connector.

  4. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (HIGH BEAM MAIN SWITCH)

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the outer mirror switch assembly (high beam main switch).

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
