INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT)


    1. Install the No. 1 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly (interior illumination light) with the 6 screws.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Attach the 12 clips to install the instrument cluster finish panel garnish assembly.

  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel RH.

  4. INSTALL MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connectors.

    2. Insert the multi-media module receiver assembly with bracket.

      Note

      When inserting the radio receiver, do not press the knobs on it.

      Attach the 6 clips.

    4. Install the multi-media module receiver assembly with bracket with the 2 bolts.

  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 5 guides and 4 clips to install the lower No. 1 instrument panel finish panel.

  6. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL


    1. Attach the 5 guides and 4 clips to install the lower No. 2 instrument panel finish panel.

  7. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect each connector and attach each wire harness clamp.

      Attach the 6 clips to install the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  9. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 3 box panel.

  10. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL


    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the upper instrument cluster finish panel.

  11. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01GITL

      Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

    2. A01GJKF

      Pull up the shift lever boot to connect it to the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH


    1. Attach the rear part of the instrument panel finish panel end LH 3 clips.

    2. Attach the front part of the instrument panel finish panel end LH 6 clips to install the instrument panel finish panel end LH.

  13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT)


    1. Attach the guide to install the No. 2 instrument panel garnish sub-assembly (interior illumination light).

    2. Install the screw.

  15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel ornament.

  16. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

    1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel LH.
