DUCT TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL COOLER (DUCT SENSOR) THERMISTOR


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 cooler (duct sensor) thermistors.

  2. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. Install the No. 3 heater to register duct with the 3 screws.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the 3 screws.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT


    1. Attach the claw to install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

    2. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the defroster nozzle assembly with the 3 screws.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT


    1. Attach the claw to install the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

    2. Install the screw.

  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
