REAR SHOCK ABSORBER (w/ Air Suspension) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Extend the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber and check that it is as described below.

      Standard
      While extending the cylinder at a constant speed, the load is constant for each stroke and there is no abnormal feedback or noises. Also, the cylinder returns at a constant speed when extended.

      • If an abnormality is found, replace the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber with a new one.

      Note

      When extending the pneumatic cylinder with shock absorber rear LH, do not block the air inlet/outlet opening.

    2. While adjusting the damping force control rod to hard, semihard, medium, soft and semisoft, inspect the pneumatic cylinder assembly with rear shock absorber LH by compressing and extending it.

      Standard
      The damping forces are not the same.
