ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR (for Front Side) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

      Remove the 5 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP LH

      Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber cap.

    2. Disconnect the connector from absorber control actuator.

    3. Disconnect the absorber cap from wire harness.

  3. REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR

      Turn the absorber control actuator counterclockwise 40° to remove it from the front pneumatic cylinder.

      Note


      • Do not turn the actuator more than 40°.

      • Do not drop the absorber control actuator. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
