HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Front LH) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT LH


    1. Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.

    2. Connect terminal 3 to the batteries' positive (+) terminal, and terminal 1 to the batteries' negative (-) terminal.

    3. Measure the voltage between terminals 1 and 2, when the height control sensor link is slowly moved up and down.

      Standard voltage:
      Tester Connection Sensor Link Position Specified Condition
      2 - 1 Max. HI Approx. 4.1 V
      Normal Approx. 2.25 V
      Min. LO Approx. 0.45 V

      Note


      • Do not apply a voltage of more than 6 V.

      • Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
