DESCRIPTION

When the object recognition ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives the country specification information from the No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly. When the country specification information in the object recognition ECU and driving support ECU do not match, DTC C1A0C is output.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the object recognition ECU and vehicle.

      Tech Tips

      The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly. Even if the country specification information for the vehicle and object recognition ECU match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and driving support ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the driving support ECU and meter.
