DESCRIPTION

When the front millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives the country specification information from the No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly. When the country specification information in the sensor and ECU do not match, DTC C1A0A is output.

  1. CHECK FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR


    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the front radar sensor Click here.

    2. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle.

      Tech Tips


      • The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly. Even if the country specification information for vehicle and sensor match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the ECU and meter.

      • When the country specification information (North America ←→ Europe) for the vehicle and sensor do not match, the sensor's information can be overwritten by performing the sensor's axis adjustment.
