NAME PLATE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER (w/ Front Spoiler)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    1. Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Protective Tape
    2. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts, 5 screws and 2 clips.

      Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    5. Disconnect the connectors.

      Tech Tips

      If the vehicle is equipped with fog light and daytime running lights, disconnect the connectors.

      Remove the 2 clips.

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the radiator grille emblem.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR EMBLEM NO. 1

      Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the back door emblem.

    2. Using an infrared light, heat the back door emblem.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Back Door Emblem No. 1 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    3. Using a scraper wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the back door emblem.

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE NO. 2

      Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the back door name plate.

    2. Using an infrared light, heat the back door name plate.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Back Door Name Plate No. 2 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    3. Using a scraper wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the back door name plate.

  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE NO. 6

      Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the back door name plate.

    2. Using an infrared light, heat the back door name plate.

      Back Door Name Plate No. 6 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    3. Using a scraper wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the back door name plate.
