FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER (w/ Front Spoiler)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    1. Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Protective Tape

    2. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts, 5 screws and 2 clips.

      Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

    5. Disconnect the connectors.

      Tech Tips

      If the vehicle is equipped with fog light and daytime running lights, disconnect the connectors.

      Remove the 2 clips.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER

    1. Remove the 8 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper lower absorber.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT UNIT LH

    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the headlight unit.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT UNIT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. Remove the 8 bolts, 2 hooks and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

    1. Disengage the 2 side hooks.

    2. Disengage the 13 clips and remove the hood to front end panel seal.

  11. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the radiator grille emblem.

  12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    1. Disengage the 23 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  13. REMOVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Daytime Running Light)

      Remove the 3 screws.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR LOWER GRILLE

    1. Disengage the 20 claws and remove the radiator lower grille.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper lower cover.

  16. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A0136UR

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the fog light assembly.

  17. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover.

  19. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH (w/ Fog Light)

    1. Remove the bolt.

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light mounting bracket.

  21. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH (w/ Fog Light)

  22. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)
