REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat back frame could cause injuries to your hands.


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    A0138RR

    1. Install the rear seat lock control lever into the rear seat lock control.

    2. A0138TN

      Using "Torx" socket wrench T40, install the rear seat lock control with the bolt.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 8.8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat back cover with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Do not soil or scratch the rear seat back cover.

      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.

      Engage the 4 hooks.

  4. INSTALL HEADREST SUPPORT BASE COVER

    A0138FK

    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the 4 headrest support base covers.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat back lock striker cover.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    A01369ME01

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the rear seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Do not soil or scratch the rear seat cushion cover.

      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.
