REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat back frame could cause injuries to your hands.


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the 52 hog rings and rear seat cushion cover.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat back lock striker cover.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE HEADREST SUPPORT BASE COVER

    1. Disengage the 4 hooks and open the rear seat back cover.

    2. A0136EM

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 4 headrest support base covers.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER

    1. Remove the 22 hog rings and rear seat back cover.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Using "Torx" socket wrench T40, remove the bolt and rear seat lock control.

    2. A0138RR

      Remove the rear seat lock control lever from the rear seat lock control.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
