NAME PLATE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR NAME PLATE NO. 6


    1. Using an infrared light, heat the double sided tape remaining on the rear bumper cover.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Back Door Name Plate No. 6 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    2. Using a piece of cloth, rub off the remaining double sided tape from the rear bumper cover.

      Note

      Installing the name plate with any double sided tape remaining on the rear bumper cover may cause adhesion failure.

      So completely remove the double sided tape.

    3. Install a new back door name plate after cleaning the attachment surface on the rear bumper cover using a non-residue solvent.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR NAME PLATE NO. 2


    1. Using an infrared light, heat the double sided tape remaining on the rear bumper cover.

      Back Door Name Plate No. 2 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    2. Using a piece of cloth, rub off the remaining double sided tape from the rear bumper cover.

      Note

      Installing the name plate with any double sided tape remaining on the rear bumper cover may cause adhesion failure.

      So completely remove the double sided tape.

    3. Install a new back door name plate after cleaning the attachment surface on the rear bumper cover using a non-residue solvent.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR EMBLEM NO. 1


    1. Using an infrared light, heat the double sided tape remaining on the back door glass.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Back Door Emblem No. 1 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    2. Using a piece of cloth, rub off the remaining double sided tape from the back door glass.

      Note

      Installing the name plate with any double sided tape remaining on the back door glass may cause adhesion failure.

      So completely remove the double sided tape.

    3. Clean the attachment surface on the back door glass using a non-residue solvent.

    4. Apply Primer G to the attachment surface on the back door glass.

      Note


      • Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.

      • Throw away any leftover Primer G.

      • Do not apply too much Primer G.

      Install a new back door emblem.

      Specification
      Area Measurement
      A 59 to 61 mm (2.323 to 2.402 in.)
      B 64.2 to 66.2 mm (2.528 to 2.606 in.)

      Note

      Do not expose the emblem to water within 24 hours of installation.

  4. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM


    1. Engage the 3 claws and install the radiator grille emblem.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Install the 2 clips.

    2. Connect the connectors.

      Tech Tips

      If the vehicle is equipped with fog light and daytime running lights, connect the connectors.

    3. Engage the 10 claws and install the front bumper cover.

      Tighten the 3 bolts and 5 screws.

    5. Install the 3 clips.

    6. Remove the protective tape.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER (w/ Front Spoiler)
