UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER BEZEL

    1. Using a small screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the instrument panel register bezel.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY NO. 1


    1. Using a cutter knife, remove the 2 welded portions of the heater to register duct.

    2. While holding the flange of the instrument panel register by hand, rotate the heater to register duct to disengage the 2 claws.

      Tech Tips


      • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

      • When the claws are firmly engaged, cut a cut line on the tip of the heater to register duct using a cutter knife.

      Using a small screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, push the 2 claws down, and remove them by rotating the instrument panel register.
