FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the front seat with adjuster frame could cause injuries to your hands.

Tech Tips

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    *1 New Hog Ring
    *2 Hog Ring Pliers

    1. Install the front seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Do not soil or scratch the front seat cushion cover.

      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.

    2. A0136PZ

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    3. Tie the cord of the front seat cushion.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK COVER

    *1 New Hog Ring

    1. Engage the velcro and install the front seat back cover.

    2. Install new hog rings.

      Note


      • Do not soil or scratch the front seat back cover.

      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.

      Install the front seat back onto the front seat with adjuster frame.

    4. A0138IF

      Engage the hook.

    5. A0138VK

      Install the seat airbag hook (w/ front seat side airbag).

    6. A0138SA

      Install the front seat airbag with the 2 nuts (w/ front seat side airbag).

      Torque:
      6.1 N*m  { 62 kgf*cm, 54 in.*lbf }
    7. A0136HN

      Install the 3 wire harness clamps (w/ front seat airbag).

    8. A0138DV

      Fasten the 2 zippers (w/ front seat airbag).

    9. A01379U

      Hook the 2 rear seat back cover bands.

  3. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

  4. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB CAP LH

    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the reclining adjuster knob cap.

  6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB CAP RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the connector clamp (driver seat only).
