FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the front seat with adjuster frame could cause injuries to your hands.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the connector clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and front seat inner belt.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB CAP LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the reclining adjuster knob cap.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB CAP RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  5. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK COVER

    1. Remove the 2 front seat back cover bands.

    2. A0138AQ

      Unfasten the 2 zippers (w/ front seat airbag).

    3. A0138IF

      Disengage the hook.

    4. A0136HN

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 wire harness clamps (w/ front seat airbag).

      Remove the 2 nuts and front seat airbag (w/ front seat side airbag).

    6. A0138VK

      Remove the seat airbag hook (w/ front seat side airbag).

    7. A0135XY

      Remove the front seat back from the front seat with adjuster frame.

      Remove the 11 hog rings.

    9. Undo the velcro and remove the front seat back cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the cord of the front seat cushion cover.

    2. Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Remove the 10 hog rings and front seat cushion cover.
