REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type) INSTALLATION

The procedure listed below is for the RH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

    A0136JM

    1. Install the rear seat back lock striker with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 215 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 3 Door)

    A0138ZH

    1. Install the rear seat back lock striker with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 215 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH (for 5 Door)

    A0136F9

    1. Engage the clip and 6 claws, and install the rear seat side garnish.

    2. Install the clip.

  4. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD (for 3 Door)

    1. Engage the 7 claws and 7 clips, and install quarter trim board.

    2. Install the clip.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

    1. Install the lap outer anchor plate of the rear seat outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 430 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 3 Door)

    A0136LR

    1. Install the lap outer anchor plate of the rear seat outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 430 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for 5 Door)

    A0137ZF

    1. Install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for 3 Door)

    1. Install the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER

    1. Using several steps, install and tighten the 2 bolts uniformly in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      31 N*m  { 315 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY

    1. Place the rear seat back in the cabin.

    2. Using several steps, install and tighten the 4 nuts, 4 bolts and 2 rear seat inner belts uniformly in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      22 N*m  { 225 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf, for 1, 2, 3 and 4 }
      33.8 N*m  { 345 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf, for 5 and 6 }
      42 N*m  { 430 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf, for 7 and 8 }

    3. Lock the 2 hooks.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 new rear seat cushion lock hooks.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    A0137NL

    1. Engage the 4 hooks and install the rear seat cushion.
