INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PRESS EJECT AND CHECK OPERATION

   
   

   1. Press EJECT and check the operation.

      
      

      1. Press the CD EJECT switch of the radio receiver for 2 seconds or more to see if the CD is ejected.

         OK
         The CD is ejected.

         Tech Tips

         
         

         • If the CD is not ejected, take the radio receiver unit to a specialist for repair.

         • Do not attempt to remove the CD by force.

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER

   OK

2. REPLACE CD WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK

   
   

   1. Replace the CD with another and recheck.

      
      

      1. Replace the CD with another normal one to see whether the same trouble occurs again.

         OK
         The malfunction disappears.

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER

   OK

   CD IS FAULTY
