*1 When the device that should be the master has been disconnected after engine starts.

01-DF

When the device with a display fails and the master is switched to the audio device. Also when a communication error between sub master (audio) and master occurs, this code is stored.

01-E1

When the AMP device records that the AMP output does not function even while the source device operates.

Tech Tips


  • *1: This code may be stored if the ignition key is turned again after the engine starts.

  • *2: This code may be stored if the ignition key is held in the START position for one minute or more before returning to the ON position.

  • *3: Even if no failure is detected, a trouble code may be recorded depending on the battery condition or engine start voltage.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (RADIO RECEIVER)


    1. A0136W0E02

      Disconnect the C17 radio receiver connector.

    2. Check the resistance.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      GND (C17-8) - Body ground Constant Below 1 Ω
    3. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.

    4. Measure the voltage.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B (C17-7) - GND (C17-8) Constant 10 to 14 V
      ACC (C17-4) - GND (C17-8) Ignition switch ACC or ON 10 to 14 V
    5. Reconnect the radio receiver connector.
