  1. OBSERVE HANDLING AND OPERATIONAL PRECAUTIONS


    1. Explain to the customer that when the cable is disconnected from the negative battery terminal, the preset AM/FM channels in the radio receiver are cleared. If necessary, make a note of any recorded channel information before this cable is disconnected, then reset the information after the cable is reconnected.

    2. The removal/installation of the radio receiver should be performed after all audio CDs have been ejected from the radio receiver.

      Tech Tips

      If a CD cannot be ejected due to a malfunction in the radio receiver, do not attempt to remove it forcibly. Take the radio receiver unit to a specialist for repair.

    3. Fasten the earth bolt securely when the antenna cord is removed or installed.

      Tech Tips

      Failure to fasten the earth bolt securely causes noise when receiving radio signals.

    4. Do not touch the cone papers of the speakers.
