BACK DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. A0138UP

      Install the back door lock actuator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the back door lock opener assembly, as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01366W

      Install the lower back panel onto the back door lock opener assembly with the 2 bolts, with it placed between the back door lock cylinder retainer and the door lock opener.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

    A0136DB

    1. Connect the 2 license plate lamp connectors.

    2. Install the wire harness clamp.

    3. Engage the 14 claws and install the rear bumper cover.

    4. A0138X7E01

      Install the 4 clips.

    5. Using "Torx" socket wrench T30, tighten the 2 rear bumper reinforcement stoppers.

    6. Remove the protective tape.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
