BACK DOOR LOCK REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

    1. Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the rear bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using "Torx" socket wrench T30, remove the 2 rear bumper reinforcement stoppers.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    4. Remove the 2 clips.

      Disengage the 14 claws and remove the rear bumper cover.

    6. Using a clip remover, remove the wire harness clamp.

    7. Disconnect the 2 license plate lamp connectors.

  3. REMOVE WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR NO.1

    1. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the wiring harness protector No. 1.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and back door lock assembly.

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY

    A01366W

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and back door lock cylinder retainer.

    2. A01368W

      Remove the back door lock opener assembly.

  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the back door lock actuator assembly.
