FRONT DOOR LOCK INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH

    A0138HYE01

    1. LHD:

      Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the front door lock actuator assembly LH and check the operation of the front door lock motor sub-assembly LH.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3

        		 Lock

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Unlock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly LH.

    2. A0138GTE01

      RHD:

      Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the front door lock actuator assembly LH and check the operation of the front door lock motor sub-assembly LH.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Lock

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Unlock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly LH.

    3. LHD only:

      Check the resistance of the position switch.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Door Lock Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 5 Lock 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 5 Unlock Below 1 Ω
        4 - 5 Lock Below 1 Ω
        4 - 5 Unlock 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY RH

    A0137KSE01

    1. LHD:

      Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the front door lock actuator assembly RH and check the operation of the front door lock motor sub-assembly RH.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Lock

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Unlock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly RH.

    2. A0136MAE01

      RHD:

      Check the operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the front door lock actuator assembly RH and check the operation of the front door lock motor sub-assembly RH.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4

        		 Lock

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3

        		 Unlock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly RH.

    3. RHD only:

      Check the resistance of the position switch.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Door Lock Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 5 Lock 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 5 Unlock Below 1 Ω
        1 - 2 Lock Below 1 Ω
        1 - 2 Unlock 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front door lock actuator assembly RH.
