WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM No Answer-Back

DESCRIPTION

In some cases, wireless control functions are normal but the hazard warning lamp does not answer-back. In such a case, the door control with receiver ECU hazard warning lamp signal output may be malfunctioning.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS


    1. Check the wireless door lock functions by operating the transmitter switch.

      Tech Tips

      When the wireless door LOCK/UNLOCK operation functions normally, it can be assumed that the transmitter signal is being properly input to the door control with receiver ECU.

  2. CHECK HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS


    1. Check that the hazard warning lights blink when the hazard warning signal switch is pressed.

      OK
      Hazard warning lights blink.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL WITH RECEIVER ECU - COMBINATION METER)


    1. A0138ROE01

      Disconnect the C25 door control with receiver ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the C1 combination meter connector.

    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      C25-5 (HAZ) - C1-13 (HAZ) Below 1 Ω
    4. Reconnect the door control with receiver ECU connector.

    5. Reconnect the combination meter connector.
