SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is turned to the ON position and the driver side seat belt is not fastened, the seat belt warning system repeatedly flashes the seat belt warning lamp. The system determines whether the seat belt is fastened by checking if the seat belt buckle switch is ON (seat belt fastened) or OFF (seat belt unfastened).
