  • Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

Note

Always use T40 "TORX" socket wrench when removing the front seat.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD

      *1 Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad (occupant detection sensor) with 10 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Do not soil or scratch the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as far as possible.

    2. Tie the cord of the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    3. Connect the 2 separate type front seat cushion cover bands.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
