CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Multi-Mode Manual Transaxle)

    1. Remove the shift knob.

    2. A0136QG

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX


    1. for Multi-Mode Manual Transaxle:


      1. Remove the console box Click here.

    2. for Manual Transaxle:


      1. Remove the console box Click here.

  4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY FRONT

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and front floor carpet.

  5. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the 2 airbag connectors, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and center airbag sensor.
