CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

  1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    Note


    • If the center airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.

    • When installing the center airbag sensor, make sure that the SRS wire harness does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.


    1. Install the center airbag sensor with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 90 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 airbag connectors, as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY FRONT

      Install the floor carpet with the 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX

    2. for Manual Transaxle:


      1. Install the console box Click here.

  4. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Multi-Mode Manual Transaxle)

    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly.

    2. A0137LF

      Install the shift knob.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
