AIRBAG SYSTEM CHECK MODE PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)

    By switching the center airbag sensor assembly from normal mode to check mode, abnormality detection sensitivity of the squib system is enhanced and troubleshooting can be conducted efficiently.

    Perform a check mode inspection after repairing the squib system to check if the repair has done correctly.


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and turn the tester on.

    3. Select the SIGNAL CHECK on the tester, and proceed checking with the tester.


      1. Switch the center airbag sensor assembly to check mode using the intelligent tester II.

        Select the following menu items : Body / SRS AIRBAG / SIGNAL CHECK.
