AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for 2WZ-TV) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE AIR FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

    1. Pinch portion A to disengage the 2 claws and remove the air filter sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY (for Cold Area Specification Vehicles)

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and PTC heater assembly.

  3. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the heat protector.

    3. A0137BP

      Remove the 2 bolts and heater radiator assembly.

  4. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

    1. Using a socket hexagon wrench 4, remove the 2 bolts and cooler expansion valve.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the evaporator sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE BLOWER FAN MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    1. While pressing down portion A, disengage the claw and remove the blower fan motor assembly by turning it counterclockwise.

  6. REMOVE BLOWER RESISTOR

    1. While pressing down portion A, disengage the claw and remove the blower resistor by sliding it to the left.

  7. REMOVE AIR DAMPER CASE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 3 bolts and air damper case assembly.
