AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for 1KR-FE) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL AIR DAMPER CASE ASSEMBLY

    A01362H

    1. Install the air damper case assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BLOWER RESISTOR

    A01367V

    1. Align the blower resistor with the groove of the air inlet, engage the claw and install the blower resistor.

  3. INSTALL BLOWER FAN MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Turn the blower fan motor clockwise, engage the claw and install the blower fan motor assembly.

  4. INSTALL COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

    1. Apply sufficient compressor oil (ZXL 200PG) to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the cooler expansion valve.

      Compressor oil
      ZXL 200PG or equivalent

    2. Install the 2 new O-rings onto the evaporator sub-assembly.

    3. Using socket wrench 4, install the expansion valve No. 1 with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for Standard Vehicles without Air Conditioning)

    1. Install the heater radiator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for Standard Vehicles with Air Conditioning)

    1. Install the adapter with the bolt.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }
    2. A01391P

      Install the heater radiator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }
    3. A0136NAE01

      Engage the 2 claws and install the heat protector.

    4. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL HEATER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY (for Cold Area Specification Vehicles)


    1. A0136ER

      Install the heater radiator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }
    2. A0138BTE01

      Engage the 2 claws and install the heat protector.

    3. Install the heat protector with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      1.2 N*m  { 12 kgf*cm, 11 in.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL AIR FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the air filter.
