DESCRIPTION

This DTC does not indicate a malfunction. This DTC is output when the torque sensor zero point calibration is not completed normally. For example, the steering wheel is touched during the calibration.

  2. PERFORM TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION


    NEXT

  3. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Check the DTCs Click here.

      (A): DTC C1516/16 is output after performing the steering zero point calibration 3 times or more.

      (B): No DTC output.

      Tech Tips

      If the DTC is output in spite of conducting the steering zero point calibration 3 times, replace the steering column assembly.
