ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM TC and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

Connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3 causes the skid control ECU to display 2-digit DTCs by flashing the ABS warning light.

  1. CHECK DLC3 TERMINAL VOLTAGE (TC TERMINAL)

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      C16-13 (TC) - C16-4 (CG) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3)


    1. Disconnect the A46 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A46-20 (TC) - C16-13 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      A46-20 (TC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
