REAR SHOCK ABSORBER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type)

    1. Disengage the 4 hooks and remove the rear seat cushion.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type)

    1. Disengage the 4 hooks and remove the rear seat cushion.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type)

    1. Release the 2 hooks.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts, 4 bolts, 2 rear seat inner belts and rear seat back.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type)

    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seat back.

  5. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for 3 Door)

    1. Remove the package tray trim panel.

  6. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

    1. Remove the package tray trim panel.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 3 Door)

    1. Remove the bolt and lap outer anchor plate of the rear seat outer belt.

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 5 Door)

    1. Remove the bolt and lap outer anchor plate of the rear seat outer belt.

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for 3 Door)

    1. Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

  10. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for 5 Door)

    1. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

  11. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD (for 3 Door)

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 7 claws and 7 clips, and remove the quarter inside trim board.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH (for 5 Door)

    1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and clip, and remove the rear seat side garnish.

  13. SEPARATE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD

    1. Remove the clip and separate the deck trim side board.

  14. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  15. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER CAP

  16. REMOVE SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY REAR


    1. Support the rear axle beam with a jack. Insert a wooden block between the jack and the rear axle spring seat to prevent damage.

      While holding the piston rod, remove the 2 nuts.

    3. Remove the rear shock absorber cushion retainer and rear suspension support.

    4. A0138THE01

      Remove the bolt and rear shock absorber.

    5. Remove the rear suspension support stopper and rear suspension support.
