SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assembly), No. 1 switch bracket and the No. 2 switch bracket with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH WIRE


    1. Install the No. 1 switch wire and connect the 2 connectors to the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assembly).

      Note

      Check that the connector is the same color as the connector it is connected to.

    2. Engage the guide and install the wire harness to the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Engage the connector clamp to the steering wheel assembly.

  3. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and the steering main shaft assembly.

    2. Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  5. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
